Crusaders assistant coach Ronan O’Gara is on the edge of signing a short-term contract as the defense coach of the French national team for the World Cup season, reported by France. His contract with the franchise based in Christchurch will expire at the end of the season, leaving him free to sign with France from mid-July.
France has been reunited with England, Argentina, the United States, and Tonga in Pool C in what is widely considered the “death hen” at this year’s World Cup.
The Blues start their campaign against Argentina at the Ajinomoto stadium in Tokyo on September 21st.
