Michael Cheika Condemns Israel Folau When He Rejects A Command For The RWC

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika said Israel Folau’s disrespectful comments would make it impossible to select the superstar for this year’s Rugby World Cup. Cheika has trouble imagining that the 30-year-old is part of the Wallabies plans for the tournament in Japan, starting in September. Sports fanatics from all over the world can now grab Rugby World Cup Tickets online to enjoy most exciting rugby matches.

You could not do it, said Cheika to the question of whether he would be able to select Folau again under the circumstances. Cheika conceded that Folau had crossed a line that was marked when Folau, motivated by religion, had published similar tweets a year ago.

“Going out of this disrespectful way in public is not the concern of our team,” Cheika said Monday. When you play in the gold jersey, we represent everyone in Australia. All those who support us. We do not choose.

“We want everyone on this car to be with us at the Rugby World Cup or at a Bledisloe Cup. We want everyone to fight with us and be with us.”

Cheika did not think the question would arise again after last year’s tweet controversy and subsequent discussions between Rugby Australia and Folau. He had unsuccessfully tried to contact him for an explanation.

“We had a discussion at the end of the last time and explained quite clearly his right to believe and our support in that sense if that’s what he wants,” he said.

I felt the need to talk to him about the reason, and I have not had that chance yet. I’m sure I’ll do it at one time or another will stabilize a bit. I made the calls and left the messages. There is no beef.

The New South Wales Waratahs dismissed Folau, while Rugby Australia was likely to break his lucrative 4 years contract for breach of contract.

Folau refused to give in to his attack on social networks and said he was ready to give up football for reasons of faith.
