Tottenham is expected to meet many of its stars to face the Reds in the Champions League final on June 1, according to an article in the Independent.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team has been seriously injured in recent months, but key men Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen and Dele Alli are all hoping to be in good form.
Meanwhile, Danny Rose, Davinson Sanchez and Harry Winks are still on the road to recovery but should be back in time.
Vertonghen would be “more and more optimistic” for his return to the Champions League final.
After the semi-final against Ajax, he said on Dutch television: “My ankle is swollen and I played in the second half on adrenaline. I could not put weight on my foot after the match, but the first tests were positive and I will know soon if I will participate in the final, I am hopeful. ”
