As India getting prepare for the exciting tour to Australia, that contains four Tests, three ODIs and as many T20Is, Team’s coach Ravi Shastri on Thursday said the spell for “chopping and changing” in the ODI plan is over and the team administration will work on selection for the top 15 for the World Cup 2019 in England and Wales.
“See Test cricket obviously is different, this is the last series we play before the World Cup. So, the focus will be entirely on that series,” Shastri told at the pre-departure presser ahead of the tour Down Under.
“Chopping, changing over now, grace period over. Now it is time to really get focussed, play as a unit and hopefully not have any injuries where we have to look elsewhere and take it from there,” he added.
The head coach also notified players to pull up their whacks and take ownership while grabbing those “tough situations” by residual rationally hard in a Test match. Resonating this, skipper Virat Kohli tense for keeping constancy while also advice the team to take more charge.
