The 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup is around the corner and the cricket radicals are keen to know which players will be qualified in the final squad for the much-awaited cricketing event.
This time the format of the tournament has changed and each side will have to face every other participating nation at least once, which makes the competition a lot harder for the teams to qualify for the knockouts. The Indian cricket team will begin their World Cup journey from 5th of June and will face South Africa.
Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will be the openers, followed by Indian captain Virat Kohli at one-down and Ambati Rayadu at 4. The idea of Virat Kohli batting at 4 will be risky and might prove to be difficult. As far as a backup opener is concerned, Kohli or Rayadu can play the role if needed.
Since many teams would not like to waste a critical spot in the fifteen having a backup opener warming the bench all through the tournament, a mutable batsman would be a better choice.
MS Dhoni is incomparable behind the stumps and his batting form in 2019 has been considerable. In addition to this, he could be the match winner in the side.
Kedar Jadhav and Hardik Pandya are the all-rounders in the XI and Ravindra Jadeja is as a backup. Jadeja is a great fielder, bowler and a handy batsman and has good experience of playing in England.
India has the best bowling lineup in the tournament. Their spinners like Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav are extremely operative in the middle overs. Bhuvaneswar Kumar, Jasprit Bumah, and Mohammed Shami will fulfill the pace deficiency. Umesh Yadav would be the fourth pacer as he is more experienced.
